Alaska Airlines announces nonstop Everett/Anchorage flight

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (NYSE: ALK) has announced the beginning of daily nonstop service between Everett and Anchorage, linking the region’s newest commercial airport with one of its major hubs.

This service will start on November 30, 2022.

Tickets for flights between Paine Field-Snohomish County Airport and the state of Alaska’s largest city are available for purchase now.

Anchorage is now the farthest destination and longest flight we’ll provide from that airport, as well as our first route to fly north from there, thanks to the new nonstop from Everett, which is run by Alaska Airlines’ sibling company Horizon Air.

In terms of operations, Horizon started using a brand-new 74,000 square foot hangar and maintenance facility on the Paine Field grounds this year. This facility has room for four E175 aircraft at once.

Within the framework of a public-private partnership with Snohomish County, Propeller Airports manages the terminal. ALK has flown nearly 1.3 million passengers to and from Paine Field-Snohomish County Airport since the carrier’s regularly scheduled service there began there in March 2019.

More than 120 locations are served by Alaska Airlines and its local partners in the United States, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
