Jetstar, Indigo interline partnership goes live

Jetstar and IndiGo’s virtual interline agreement went into effect on Wednesday, giving travelers in Singapore and Southeast Asia more choices for low-cost direct flights and connections to India.

Jetstar passengers seeking low-cost travel choices can now use jetstar.com to get IndiGo’s inexpensive fares from Singapore to Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Tiruchirappalli.

With Jetstar Connect, travelers may choose flights, purchase bundled and unbundled auxiliary items like luggage and seats, and experience seamless connectivity between overseas flights.

“The agreement will enable consumers to experience seamless connection between Jetstar and IndiGo and access to a wide choice of destinations across the Asia Pacific,” stated Sanjay Kumar, chief strategy and revenue officer of Indigo.

According to Jetstar Asia’s commercial lead, Poh Tiong Seng, “Today’s announcement marks a big milestone for Jetstar as we continue to expand our network via Singapore’s Changi Airport through our collaboration with IndiGo.”
